Barbieblues

A short film by Maria Bolme. The girl's rather innocent role-play with Barbie dolls turns in the mother's inner vision into a subtle but sadistic bullying, to which her girl must be exposed. A worry that has long gnawed inside her is confirmed. She's had enough, here's to revenge. Slowly the girl realizes what her mother's plan is all about and with frozen horror she can do nothing but watch, unable to intervene.
